Technology is presenting both massive opportunities - such as using data for preventative health care - but also threats - for example, the reduction of jobs in heavy manufacturing.


Decoded is a corporate education company that gives companies the mindsets and skillsets that ensure their employees are best placed to act on the incredible opportunities that emerging technologies are presenting. To achieve our next big plans we need more amazing people in our team and we are now looking for a Client Director to join our team in our Sydney office.

Requirements

Who are you?

You are a collaborative, strategic and strong negotiator. You love technology, how it is changing the nature of work and how large companies are preparing for this impact. You are eager to learn and you thrive in an ambitious environment. You have 5+ years of experience in a commercial role and might come from an advertising, digital agency, B2B startup or a software company - or somewhere completely different. You will have a consistent record of generating new leads and delivering them through to conversion.

 

You are an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full right to work through other means. Decoded will not sponsor you and this position is not open to working holiday visa holders.

 

You also have...

  • experience in leading large scale proposals and pitches, and advising and influencing clients

  • proven experience generating new leads and converting relationships into scalable long term engagements

  • excellent knowledge of Decoded clients, products and macro trends - across industries

  • effective decision making skills and you are great at questioning, listening and challenging

  • flexibility: an ever-changing environment excites you more than it scares you

  • experience in working in a global environment (you’ll be collaborating with our other Decoded offices across Europe and the US)

  • ability and interest in being a role model - you are there to mentor junior team members

What you’ll do?

Decoded is a corporate education company. We deliver incredibly high-quality training to up-skill organisations' understanding of emerging technologies. Your role will be to identify and engage with clients that want to use Decoded to prepare their employees and understand how to make the most of the rapidly changing emerging tech world. You will be planning and actively leading the end-to-end process of our facilitators delivering premium training experience with top brands in the world.

 

More specifically, you will...

  • discover new potential clients, find opportunities, design and deliver multi-channel campaigns to generate leads

  • lead T1 client relationships: build and grow existing relationships (drive revenue through cross selling & upselling)

  • contribute in thought leadership: you will attend and do talks / panels / blogs etc

  • present and pitch - speaking in front of C-Suite/ Senior Leadership audiences comes naturally to you when you believe in what you’re doing

  • close large deals and work hard towards your targets in bringing $2m+ revenue per year

  • lead and support the existing client team to excel and deliver on their important metrics
